grafted into the original frame to incorporate the factory cross

and stability. Due to the addition of the subframe and the rearend,
the car has been lowered 8" in the front and 5" in the rear.
The front of the running boards are now just 5 1/2" off the
ground in the front and 8" in the rear. (13 1/2" Stock).
The car also has an
aftermarket Air Conditioning unit installed under the dash, GM Tilt Wheel,
1969 Lincoln Mark III Power Brake unit, Cruise control,
Stewart Warner Stage III Gauges and a Techniques AM/FM stereo w/5 band
graphic equalizer & cassette player.
It also has an Electric Antenna with CB
load and electric trunk release.
The Mild body customizing includes
frenched Headlights, frenched 1963 Mercury Taillights w/ blue dots, a rolled rear pan with frenched
license plate. The nose and deck lid have been shaved and the door handles
have been removed, along with all of the body side and window chrome.
The custom lower front valance is all steel and can be removed to replace the original
front sheet metal pieces and stock front bumper if desired. The hood has been louvered and a custom dash has been
added.
The body work was
completed in the fall of 1989 after the complete car was sand blasted
inside and out. A Urethane based primer was used to seal the body
after it was customized or repaired. The car was painted in the fall of
1989 using paint from Sherwin Williams. It is a BC/CC formula and the
color is Dark Sapphire Blue metallic.
The Velour
