The Car will be used by local area Fire Fighters during Parades and other area Safety Programs within the city and at some activities outside of Cedar Rapids.

When complete the actual value of the vehicle will be in the area of $8000, but it's impact on the community will be much greater.

Used as an attention gathering device, it will draw many people from all walks of life. The car will be a great tool to help our fire department deliver the message of Fire Safety. Promoting Fire Safety and other Safety projects in and around Cedar Rapids, is an important way of making our community a safer place to live, work and play.

For several months we have been gathering donations from many local area businesses as well as from the private sector.

These donations have ranged from cash, to parts for the car, to services performed by local automotive related business. All of the donations received, have been used to the car to bring it back to it's original condition and to help fund the building of our project car.

We are still looking for some items to help complete the project and we are also taking donations to help fund the later stages of the project.
